Meet Dr. Skelly

Dr. Skelly established Skelly Smiles in April, 2016. She was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA. Her path to dentistry
uniquely started on the pitcher’s mound of a high school softball field. A line drive struck her in the jaw resulting in a need for an extensive course of orthodontic and surgical dental treatment. Unfortunately, the injury ended her season that year, but
instilled in her a passion to pursue the same profession that helped her restore her once damaged smile. She learned that through a team approach to dental care, her smile could be restored in function and esthetics. She went on to attend the
University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2006, followed by her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2011. Her dental school career, fueled by her passion for so many aspects of dentistry, was only the
beginning of her clinical success. She continued onto a General Practice Residency Program at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, where she continued to develop and sharpen her skills as a general practitioner. Dr. Skelly then worked in private
practice for four years before returning to the Lehigh Valley. Working with her dedicated team, Dr. Skelly creates beautiful smiles using the latest advances in dental technology She continues to volunteer at the General Residency Program at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg where she received the Clinical Teacher of the Year Award in 2017. She also enjoys giving back to the community through volunteer
and outreach programs. She is a 3 time participate in the MOM-n-PA volunteer dental event which provides free dental services to those in need throughout the state. In her free time, Dr. Skelly is an avid sports fan, taking in various events with friends and family. She also enjoys golfing, snowboarding, exploring craft breweries, and spoiling her English Bulldog, Kona.
